Think About These Things

"Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." -Philippians 4:8

Playing around

Over the past few years, we have been had a lot of fun performing with Live Oak Theater. Here are some shots from what we have been up to: 2021- The Little Earl (a musical written by Ellen and David Sanborn) – we played Elena and Haversham; 2023- Sound of Music where Victoria played Mother Abbess; and 2023- Fiddler on the Roof – we played Tevya and Golde!

About us

David grew up as an evangelical protestant on the mission field in Southeast Asia. This stirred in David a hunger “to love God and make him loved” from his earliest years.

At Wheaton College, he majored in Music and Theatre and became an actor, singer, composer and playwright. David has performed nationally and internationally with his portrayals of Jesus Christ, King David, and others, including off-Broadway and Broadway tours.

In 2014, he became an evangelical pastor. Through his sermon preparations and personal exploration, he was drawn to the Catholic faith. He was received into the Catholic Church on the eve of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. David completed his Master’s Degree in Theology with an emphasis on Sacred Scripture from the Augustine Institute in 2023. He currently serves as the Director of Evangelization and Stewardship at Our Lady of the Rosary in Land O’ Lakes, FL.

David and Victoria were married in 2018. Victoria is a cradle Catholic whose own journey led her through discerning a possible vocation to religious life for 4 years, studying theology at the Dominican House of Studies, and becoming a lay Dominican. Since 2014, she has been serving as a Catechetical Consultant to the USCCB Institute on the Catechism, while also homeschooling.

Together, they also perform in local theater and enjoy singing at Church. Their favorite ministry is to their three boys ages 3, 4, and 7.
